Funda Guide

4 steps

How to complete this application without mistakes.

  1. 1

    Check eligibility and gather documents

Confirm you meet the LLM eligibility (minimum 50% where applicable) and keep scanned copies of your marksheets, ID proof, photo and signature ready in the required format.

  2. 2

    Register for CLAT

Make sure you have registered for CLAT. Many institutes need your CLAT application number to complete their own form.

  3. 3

Fill the application and pay the fee

Fill personal, academic and programme preferences carefully. Pay the application fee of ₹700 (₹350 for eligible reserved categories) online.

  4. 4

Final submit and save your confirmation

Review every field, click Final Submit, and download the confirmation page. Add the next dates (exam, result, counselling) to your Funda Calendar.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Uploading a photo or signature in the wrong size or format — check the pixel and KB limits before you upload.
  • Name mismatch between the application, Class 10 marksheet and ID proof.
  • Selecting the wrong category or not uploading a valid category certificate.
  • Paying the fee but not clicking 'Final Submit' — the form stays incomplete.
  • Waiting for the last day, when portals are slow and payment gateways time out.
  • Not saving the confirmation page / application number for later reference.
